Carmilla Edalia
Hi, I'm Carmilla! I am a therapist who truly loves deep, meaningful conversations—especially when they come with moments of laughter, growth, and celebration. Therapy isn’t just about working through pain; it’s also about discovering joy, resilience, and new possibilities. I’ve been practicing since 2018, and it’s been an incredible journey. Every session is an opportunity to connect, listen, and learn not just for my clients, but for me too. I genuinely believe therapy is a two-way street, and I’ve grown just as much from the stories and experiences shared with me. My approach is flexible and tailored to each person's unique needs, personality, and strengths.
I mix different therapeutic styles to create a personalized experience for each client. Some of the techniques I use include:
- Experiential Therapy – Helping you process emotions and express yourself freely.
- Solution-Focused Therapy – Getting straight to practical steps that create real change.
- Systems Therapy – Looking at the bigger picture, including how relationships and interactions shape challenges and solutions.
- Cognitive Therapy – Shifting mindset and thought patterns to build confidence and success. I work with people from their teenage years to their 60s, and I really value feedback! If something in our sessions works well or if something is missing I want to hear about it. Your journey is personal, and I’m here to make sure you get the most out of it.
A Little About Me: I’m a lifelong learner and currently finishing my master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. I also take short courses to keep sharpening my skills. Outside of work, I prioritize self-care, rest, and setting good boundaries because I believe a well-balanced therapist is a more effective one. If you're looking for a space where you can heal, grow, and discover new possibilities for yourself, I’d love to collaborate with you on that journey!
