Victoria Peter

I am a licensed clinical psychologist practicing here in Kenya at a hospital set up. I have previously worked with adolescents and young adolescents in education setup.

My goal is to be able to allow the client to be themselves and utilise therapy as their escape. I like to incorporate a few psychological assessments to get to understand a bit more about the client's presenting problems and help them process these issues. During my practice I incorporate alot of CBT specifically solution focused therapy, mindfulness, trauma informed CBT, cognitive reframing, reality therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy. I do also acknowledge some humanistic approaches in my practice like the narrative therapy, gestalt therapy and the person centred therapy.
